Salon Sanjoy

responsive website

Web Designer
Responsive marketing website for local business
a.k.a. "How (Lack of) Content Informs Design”

2017 / http://salonsanjoy.com

This responsive website was created for a brand new Ann Arbor business whose website was out-of-date and more complicated than necessary. I created a new website on a CMS with a much simpler sitemap and an emphasis on photography to present the stylists’ work. I used the existing logo and the colors from the salon space to create a visual branding story that is consistent throughout the site. The site is still being completed with content and minor changes are being made in response to the analytics and users’ feedback.

It was imperative that the site be responsive as 60% of users consult from a mobile device.
